The Pledge

I agree with the courts ruling on the “Under God” ruling. I’ve often wondered about it and the wording on our currency. I wonder if that will be addressed next. On another note, the original pledge was: I pledge allegiance to my Flag and the Republic for which it stands, one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Boy, this has been a tough year for the market. First Enron, now WorldCom. I read on The Register that Andersen was the auditor during the period in question. I wonder if this is a result of single bad company influencing others or a collapse in big-business in general.

Okay, first off, I hated Red Rover. It was a lame game and rank among the worst. Primarily because no one said “Send Ben right over”! Of course now it looks like schools want to ban certain games because it can effect a kids self-esteem. Actually the only game I think should be banned is the one where the bully beats up on me…I mean the smaller kids.

I had forgotten about Freeze Tag.

Spider-Goat

Things like this case me mixed feelings. Part of me wants to yell “atrocity” and demand that such genetic manipulations be put to an end. Another part of me goes “cool” and thinks of the benefits things like this could provide people and animals. Ultimately, I don’t have a problem with a symbiotic relationship between two animals (in this case human and goat) in which it is mutually beneficial to each other.
